They are scammers and what you pay stays with them.When you go to pick up the car, it turns out that nothing has been paid and you have to pay again.To me this is pure fraud.
Hola! Me gustaría informarles que, al realizar el pago de la reserva del coche PRE-19231****, no se mencionó ningún depósito de 1,100 euros.
En relación con lo anterior, le informo que no deseo alquilar el coche en estas condiciones y solicito que me reembolse el importe antes de la fecha límite de alquiler, el 28/10/2025, para poder alquilar otro coche.
De lo contrario, lo denunciaré ante las autoridades por información injusta y engañosa.

On 09/16/2025 reservation number: CJT18904**** Payment: 274.52.
On 09/16/2025 reservation number: CJT18905**** Payment: 430.55.
Both rentals were cancelled by you for technical reasons (car unavailable and/or damaged, staff unavailable to escort to the rental location). I requested the cancellation of these two rentals. They were accepted.
The second rental was reimbursed on 09/17/2025. I am still waiting for the refund of the first rental: 274.52.
I have the emails confirming my statements at your disposal.

Never use CarJet - they work with scammers Akarent - Sigma Renta Car. They allegedly insure the car and then do not get in touch.
Through the CarJet website, scammers from the company Akarent - they are also Sigma Renta Car - stole a deposit of 400 euros. CarJet does not respond to all my requests.

Never trust international companies even if they confirm trade collaboration with South African companies whether they are subsidiaries or not. You get automated responses, email account no longer in use etc
flight canceled due to weather leafing to missing critical appointment. I canceled car rental, no refund only generated responses from chat line. Thereafter incorrect email address

I would strongly urge people to rent from someone else. And if that option has already passed, then ask for their official complaint form. And file it with the authorities.
I have not been contacted by anyone from CarJet except for a standard email reply that is irrelevant to my situation. They are extremely difficult if not impossible to get a hold of.
In spite of the fact that they told me it was gonna be open from 9 to 2100. There was supposed to be some car repair guy that was going to show up in 30 to 45 minutes, but that would have caused me to miss my flight I was able to get a hold of a staff member. They told me to park the car in the lot at the airport, leave the ticket in the car, the keys on the top of the wheel and send them information as to where the car was located. All of which I did.
I asked them to send me a receipt of the deposit return.
They intern told me they were going to charge me for parking and charge me for not bringing the car back to the rental location even though it was CLOSED and theres no way I could do that.
I have never been treated so poorly by their customer service or more appropriately customer blame Dept. As you can imagine, it was an extremely stressful situation and for them to blame me for their lack of staffing was beyond the pale. I would NEVER use them or recommend them to anyone.
They still have not released my $1100 deposit even though the car was returned in mint condition with a full tank of gas in the location they told me to return it to. I will need to pursue legal action at this point.

In June 2025, I rented a car for two weeks via CarJet in Albania. A 300 security deposit was debited on 01 July 2025, not just pre-authorized.
For months, I received only generic replies, with no resolution. On 25 September 2025, they sent a document showing a short-term authorization and immediate release (both on 25 September 2025); this has nothing to do with the original debit.
Communication is terrible; customer service is basically nonexistent. Avoid CarJet!

No car - No refund - Just problems and loss of money!
I booked a car for 14 days at the airport of Bari from August 31st to September 14th. At the meeting point that was given to me 2 days prior to my arrival by their partner company Surprice Rent a Car, no shuttle bus arrived.
On my request, when will the car arrive Surprice answered "sorry no car available - you will get a refund".
So I had to find a car at peak holiday season in an instant, I checked all the rental booths at the airport, the cheapest offer was Goldcar which I found through booking.com.
But it cost me 700.- more than the Car Jet car which never appeared!
For about one month I try to get answers on my mails to Car Jet but no answer they sent made sense, a certain "Laura" always asked for more details, very strange indeed.
Now I found your information with a phone number, my call was answered by Luis, he checked my reservation, found it and said that there was no report of problems in my case. He would now investigate and come back to me.
There is not much hope that this company will refund all my costs plus the damage I had, but let's see.
Anyway, I cannot recommend bookings with Car Jet!

No one is replying back to us
When we booked we put in jmalik201@***.con instead of .com which is clearly a typo and now we are trying to cancel booking you are not doing it
We didnt even get the voucher because of this reason so couldnt go get the car

Hello.
My name is Adrian Kołodziej, and I made a reservation on June 13, 2025, through CarJet. I wanted to rent a small car to travel between Wrocław and the Opole region.
I chose a Skoda Fabia SW 5 doors A/C or similar.
Reference or reservation number: CJT-17684****
The amount I paid was 146.20. The car was booked from July 5-12, 2025.
After arriving at the FlexToGo Wrocław Airport pickup point on July 5 and waiting 50 minutes (due to problems with the US gentleman who didn't receive the car), the staff member at your office informed me that, unfortunately, Mr. Adrian, I have bad news: I don't have a car for you. I'm telling you, as I said, I booked well in advance and paid all fees. The staff member replied that CarJet had sold more cars than they had for that period and that vacations happen anyway. He then informed me that I would receive a full refund of 146.20, but I would have to call CarJet. Not to mention that I can't connect with the Polish staff in any way; they only speak English and Spanish. If I do speak Polish, they use an AI chat and repeatedly send me back to the beginning. Honestly, I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't speak at least one language. On July 9th, I called the CarJet hotline in Spain and explained the entire situation to Ms. Luz-Mariana U.-Florinda. I received an email, CJT-17684****/U79002****, saying they thanked me for my message and that they would contact me.
Unfortunately, I was forced to rent a car from a competitor at Kaizen Rent for the same price again.
So I have a few questions:
- Has CarJet contacted you?
- How long does the refund process take?
- Who can be charged for the additional costs I incurred?
- So who should I leave a negative review to?
I can't hide my disappointment and anger because all the bookings, purchases, etc., are made sooner, so you could have informed me that the car wouldn't be available! I received an email on July 13th from CarJet to review FlexToGO Rent a Car Wrocław Airport as if nothing had happened. Even though it's just a review, I can't give it a good rating!
When will I receive any updates on the situation?

Beware, Carjet are rip-off merchants. They gave me a quote with full insurance for a Brisbane rental.
I paid the deposit, then they said they could not provide the service. I requested a refund. They refused. Please do not use the booking site.
Stay with Expedia or book direct with the company. It is also impossible to make contact with them.

CarJet incompetence
When I booked a car with CarJet I did not realize they are a third party company and the car that I would need to pick up would be from Europcar.
I booked the car and then was asked if I would like insurance, I said yes and paid only to receive an email from CarJet saying that they could not insure me being in the states and would refund me within 7-10 days.
10 minutes later I received another email from the same person asking if I needed insurance, I assumed they had found another way for me to get insurance so I paid and took it only to receive another email saying the same thing and they would pay me back in 7-10 days. I then took out a third insurance that would cover me when in Ireland only to arrive at Europcar and them tell me that they did not accept the insurance that I took out.
I paid for 3 insurances that did not work and Europcar wanted me to take out a fourth insurance with them.
I told Europcar what they could do with the rental.
CarJet only answered me today after numerous emails saying that they could do nothing about it and my $250 is not refundable.
These two companies clearly do not work hand in hand and I would not send my worst enemy to them.
Nothing could be worse than CarJet .

I am writing to you today to request an urgent update regarding my security deposit.
I rented a vehicle from your company via CarJet on June 21, 2025, under rental agreement number CJT-17737****. The car was collected from Right Cars Rent a Car at the Antalya International Airport.
The car was returned on June 28, 2025, and your staff confirmed there were no issues with the vehicle, with the return paperwork signed accordingly.
According to your company policy, the security deposit should have been refunded within 7 business days of the vehicle's return. This means I should have received the deposit no later than July 8, 2025.
Unfortunately, as of today, August 18, 2025, I have still not received the refund. The significant delay in this payment has resulted in additional costs for me, as I have been charged interest fees on my credit card due to the outstanding balance.
I require an immediate resolution to this matter. Please provide a clear timeline for when I can expect the deposit to be returned to my account. I have attached a copy of my rental agreement and the signed return paperwork for your reference.
I am expecting your response before August 23, 2025; otherwise, I'll be forced to take this further.
I look forward to your prompt response and a swift resolution.

You NEVER buy rental insurance until you are at the desk dealing with the person two feet away that will hand you the keys. You owe that Europcar rep an apology. He had NOTHING to do with your third party booking site insurance.
I owe nobody nothing.
